Planar 78 ?

I also own a planer 78.

I asked rega if I could convert to 33/45. They confirmed that you can and sent me the replacement pulley for free - good of Rega. The actual pulley needed will depend upon whether you have a metal or plastic sub chassis.
The arm is the standard rega rb250 and has four wires already although only 3 are used with the 78 cartridge.

My technician friend with oodles of 80s turntable experience on a lot of Linn and Rega has told me that the Rega's run slightly fast.... (IE not motor RPM but pulley /platter ratio causes greater then 33.333333333 RPM)
This makes em sound pacey but it is also said that the human ear is more sensitive to slow pitch rather then fast so the extra speed leaves a margin for fluctuation without falling below correct speed.
Perhaps contacting Rega is the best thing to do...
