Default Sasnui TU717 Rack Handle

I want to Buy the Rack Handle for Sansui 717 online. Is a Sansui amp AU417 rack handle with the same size of TU417 and so can also be use in TU717?

IS TU417 same size of TU717?

Thanks

I love mine,Great tuner,especialy with a J-pole antenna! (I can pickup everything within like 100 miles!) Good sound,good sensitivity..
I just gotta replace the burnt out panel lights..
(Anybody have any pointers? LED's maybe?)

My guess is that the handles are the same size, and will work.

Also,For some great tuner info check out..

I don't know, I am getting into old equipment big time.
The schematics show an attention to the circuitry that is simply unimaginable in today's equipment.
The circuitry may be misguided and not yield the best sound but I value and appreciate the effort by the engineers and the material used very much. They did the best they could with what they knew and I am akin to that.

I am planning to check it out and then replace the power supply diodes with schottky remove the snubbers, filter caps and signal path caps.

I may play with the narrow band murata later.

The tuner info website has links to places where you may be able to get the lights you need. It's an antenna place.

Hi Grataku,

How did you do with your TU717 mods? Did you do the Schottkys? How did that impact the sound?

I just bought one and another member here, Serratoga, is just starting the whole process with his! Any pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Regards//Keith
