I have some questions about this old deck. I have one that was given away but needs a service .
The platter bearing seems noisy when spinning. Sitting down there is no lateral play , but I can actually lift the platter up (with the bearing still attatched) about 5mm. Should this unit have this much play? The belt has a round cross section (as opposed to the other flat turntable belts) Where can one find a replacement. (length is about 345mm folded in half) Could anyone please direct us to any service manual for this unit? Cheers. |
