Can anyone provide some guidance on where I might find replacement grommets for the suspension springs on an old Music & Sound / CJ Walker turntable?
Appreciate the help and ideas. The old foam has decayed and the grommets are brittle and falling apart. Time to overhaul / upgrade. Any/all suggestions welcome and appreciated. |

How about linn ones? A set of new springs and grommets is about £20.
I've got an old CJ58 here...that is my plan but I haven't tried yet. The foam was a waste of time anyway btw. |

Thanks for the idea. I had forgotten that I had an old Thorens table that I was able to scavenge the grommet from. It worked and I'm back in business. Maybe not the most ideal 'fix' but it works for now.
Now... how to figure out which tube(s) are noisy on one of my Mac MC30s.... Always something that needs to be tweaked. |
