Hi
my Technics 1610mk2 turntable does not activate the automatic arm return until moved well into the label area. The start set in point was correctly adjusted from near the base of the tone arm; but as yet i have not been able to set the return arm point. This is a bit different from the other technics turntables having a motor assisted arm a little perplexed! all advise will be most appriciated thanks mak |

Hi Mak,
I had a look through my manual (I have the same TT) and couldn't find it mentioned. There is a feature that mutes the sound when the needle touches down or leaves the vinyl that you can adjust so it has the right timing. You could adjust that and then at least you wont get all the noise of it hitting the label.....maybe. BTW my avatar is a photo I took of my 1600
