Hmmm. I get the impression that a whole new plinth could have been built with less effort. And without demolishing the Project.

Yes, that was also an option. But I wanted to keep the suspended deck, and I already knew that the Perspective's motor can be made to work very quietly.

Besides, it's not demolished. I can still put it back, not that I want to.
