Hi someone to help me. I have an old walker 55 t.table with
an old micro 505 tonearm .i'd like to upgrade the arm as i was told from a friend of mine that the micro's probably to heavy for the walker . The suggestion is for a sme 3009 III improved or a rega rb 300. Anyone experienced with walker t.tables to give me advices . Thanks, Marco |

I´m with Pete, but if you also modify the Rega a la Origin Live... (quote) "the humble Rega transforms in a Giant Killer "

Yes, the rega 300 arm should be your choice, I think!

Hi Marco
You´ve been wrongly informed, the Micro 505 is not to heavy for the cj55, adjust the spring tension if unbalanced. The Rega arms are decent but the 505, if in good condition, is far better. Check and adjust bearings for play then spend the money on a Grado Sonata or records instead.
