Kind'a weird question...
but my brother got hold of an old Garrard to put in his vintage radio cabinet...and the 'table had a Shure V15XMR mounted - would you beleive it??? I have made a deal with him..I'll get the V15 if I fix him a suitable ceramic or crystal cart' that fits the old radio, but that proved harder than I thought... 1/2" mount...though.. Any ideas out there, where I could find one???? |

and still in good working order, and if you take the Shure V15 for free, then he was the one to win the lottery anyway, not you.
Fit him a really decent moving coil cartridge, best equip the thing with an SME3012 and an Ortofon SPU and mount the Garrard in a solid plinth. And you both will be amazed by what the garrard is dealing out in dynamics and drive ... and you will be bored by what lame stuff is coming from the V15.
