I was trying to replace the Cue lamp on my technics 1210 mk2 and I accidentally shorted the cue lamp 20v DC wires. Everything went dead.

There is now no DC power, all LEDs are off and the deck wont work. I have checked with a voltmeter and there is still AC 240 and 30volts coming through. I think the DC regulator circuit is gone.

Any idea of what components I need to replace to get it working again ??

thanks

Did you measure the fuses out of circuit?
Q1 has a little PCB attached with 3 wires.
With respect to ground you should measure 35VDC at the orange wire, 21.9VDC at the yellow one and 21.3VDC at the red one.
The stylus illuminator is directly connected to the 21.3VDC.
Ground can be taken at one of the screws that hold the big PCB in place.

Oh, and please disconnect the mains before taking parts out. :)
