Hello Diy members,
A year ago I bought a very nice garrard 301 with a Sme 3009 arm. Now I am looking for a nice plinth made of wood or stone. I found a lot of different designs on the internet, but which one is the best ? A solid rock, or a nice wooden case ? I hope to get a lot of interesting ideas. Regards, Martin

May be old hat. But first I would recommend you to read this. Then I would check out the Analog Dept. for ideas. You should check this out as well. Way too expensive, but will make your Garrard sing.
I'm in the midst of a Garrard 301 project myself, with a 3009/2 improved. I'm looking to get a first version 3009 or 3010 or 3012 though. That or, even better, an Ortofon. |
