Hello, all.
Just to let you know that I've managed to get the SL-15 service manual scanned and up on the web (finally!) The SL15 page can be found at: http://uk.geocities.com/lineartechnicssl15/ I've had the service manuals for the Technics SL-7 and SL-10 up for some time now. The SL7 is at: http://uk.geocities.com/lineartechnics/ The SL10 is at: http://uk.geocities.com/lineartechnicssl10/index.html I also have some pages on the Trio Kenwood L-07D, including the service manual. The LO7D information is located at: http://uk.geocities.com/triophilel07d/ Cheers, Jon. |

The cartridges that this series of turntables came with were just fantastic. If only there were still styli available... I still have my old EPC100C-Mk4; I spent many days combing Akihabara for a replacement stylus, but no luck.

Hello, SY
I'm still kicking myself for passing up an EPC-100 on eBay a year or two ago. After all, I had three 205s and a 202, so why would I have needed another cart..? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Oh well, live and learn. Of course, if you do decide to part with your EPC-100, I would be happy to give it a new home. The same goes for anyone reading this who might happen to have a surplus Technics T4P from the upper echelons of their cartridge range, alive or dead. Cheers, Jon. |

Intellectually, I keep telling myself, "That's it, there's no more styli, you'll never find one." But emotionally, I keep thinking, "There's a pony in there somewhere!"
Do you what Technics did with all the old tooling?

Haven't got the faintest idea what they did with it. Are thinking of going into production again
You could get it retipped, I suppose, by someone like Expert Stylus. "There's a pony in there somewhere." Er, unless you mean cash, I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Cheers, Jon. |

My own has some scratches, but plays well!
Too bad the previous owner broke the cart, maybe it can be fixed? Do you have any experience with MC carts for T4P mount? Or something better than Ortofon OMP (20) or AT316 ? I have seen Pickering making some expensive T4P carts... Arne K

Hello, EFX.
Is it OK if I put the picture of your SL-10 and SL-15 on my web site? I am working on my web site now, and hope to put the changes on the web in about a week. I have a black SL-15 too, and I think they look great. I have seen the Pickering T4P cartridges, but when I asked Pickering for a frequency response graph, they said they didn't have any. The cartridges are too expensive for me to want to buy one without seeing some measurements. Cheers, Jon. |

Hello triophile,
No problem to use my pic.s on your website I send you a mail if you need more. I also do have black records haha. Maybe we can find out if the stylus and needle prices are cheaper in GB-NL-or Norway or Germany tru this owners site or the best adresses where to buy anyway. greetings efx
