( http://www.theanalogdept.com/diy'ing_a_time_machine.htm ) has sent me the URL for Dr Imbabi's circuit for a precision DIY power supply that he is using to great effect : http://www.eng.abdn.ac.uk/~eng289/401/401ps.jpg Looks straightforward and fairly inexpensive Brian. |

I've been looking for something like this - and nice article link for theanalogdept.com as well - a double bonus post!
Now I need to knock some of the other pending projects out of the way so I can build one of these for my Empire 208. Good stuff - /pRC |

I'd love to try this design out for my Garrard 401. Alas I currently am not experienced enough to attempt building this design 100% from scratch... working out the layout from the circuit diagram :-(
If anyone has already designed a circuit board for this project, or even has an appropriate layout of parts for a 18-way tag board(s) I'd love to see them! Cheers! - John |
