Hi, I'm researching one Play Back preamplifier in cassette deck (Pioneer CT447), and can't understand what is the function of resistor R103 (R104).
It is single supply opamp, VA12 is 12V, and R116 R117 forming virtual ground for positive input of opamp, but what is the purpose of R103?

I do not know either, and I have studied thousands of similar circuits.
Note also that the Mike Amp uses the same chip and similar connections but does not have this resistor.
On paper it does "nothing", being across the two inputs and subject to "zero" volts.
