Hi.
I got a Linn Basik from my friend,
and it has a k9 catridge and a stylus on it, he been using it for many
years probably 15 years.
He told me to replace it bacauce the sound got a little dull.
but could I clean it with alchohol carefully to remove residue and dirt..
I took some picture to ask the forum if this i worn out or something,
there was 20 years ago i was listening to LP albums. ..
and i read to replace the stylus i can buy a Audio technica atn95e or something.

Hi Nikolas after 15 years use I suggest replace cartridge! Audio technica at 95e is good and cheap.Depends on your budget I guess but better stylus( line contact,micro line,shibata) will give better treble response. Go to origin live site for cleaning info and cartridge choices. Hope this helps.regards Ben
