What type of RIAA for Denon Dl103 cart to Gainclone LM3875 amplifier
I have read different things about what type of RIAA EQs that should be used with the denon dl103 cart and matching with different stereo amplifiers
--- and that this does make up a difference.
Without quite having the answers myself here - I´m now posting to ask:
Today I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy 1.5 driven by a set of LM3875 Gainclone monoblocks with a PassDIY B1 preamp.
I have a vintage turntable with a Denon 103 cart.
I have no proper RIAA eq in my setup, but:
I have a PhonoClone 3 kit from RJM Audio ( not fully built / finished - never tested ) - as I´ve understood it this kit suits the denon dl103 cart.
I also have a Auditorium 23 MC step up transformer.
1. Should I buy myself a MM kit/MM phono pre and use my A23 MC SUT?
2. Should I finish building my Phono Clone 3 and just go for this setup?
PS: I really like the sound from my NOS dac on my stereo setup... If this helps you answering in any direction...
Thank you :-)
