Pro-ject M400 motor for Xperience comfort

I am an owner of a Pro-ject Xperience Comfort turntable.
Det motor, M400 is defect and I have heard that Pro-ject can not deliver this motor any longer?
Are there any other motor I can use?

What about use a similar sized motor and build power supply that suits the new motor?

It would help if you tell us whether it is ac/dc, voltage and speed. If you don't know, some good pictures would help.
