Exclamation SP-10 MK3 flutter

Has anyone measure the flutter, or better still looked at the spectral components of the flutter ?

If not, could anyone do it so as to exchange notes ?

Thanks

Dave

They will exist at the number of poles in the motor, the drive voltage frequency and the sampling frequency of the pll and multiples there of.

Record 60 seconds of a circa 3k test tone to wav file at cd quality and Ill do a wavelet analysis for you.

I have done some measurements on turntables but not on an SP10 - but it's on my list. Not a pretty picture, see attached.

I have measure about a dozen, but I'm only interested in the Technics Sp-10 MK3 right now.

Thanks

Dave

Dave would you be willing to share your measurement results? I am preparing an article on these issues.
