Trouble with parallel tracking tonearm wiring (hum)

I would like to ask for help solving tonearm wiring problem
I am using very thin litz wire in a carbon tube. Inside the tube four wires are braided.
I was debating if I should twist each pair of signal wires at the strain relelief loop, but was worried that the wires will become too stiff and impede movement of the arm (paralel tracking similar to Terminator tonearm design) so I left four wires running all the way to din connector which connects to rca and preamp.

The carbon tube is grounded via clamped copper ring made out of tube and a wire soldered to it running to pream chassis.

I am getting a hum.
I would appreciate any help trying to solve this problem.

Probably each channel's pair should be twisted to minimize hum pickup.

Yes, I will try it next, I was worried that it will make the wires too stiff for arm to move freely...

Yes, that's always a concern. I've seen a number of commercial arms with that problem. Small wire does help.
Does the cartridge body have a ground attached to one channel's negative pin?
Do you measure a short from the headshell end to the ground wire?
