Default Turntable power supply

I would replace the original power supply for a little improved version . Does anyone have a proven scheme to supply turntable motor 16 v/AC. Turntabel is Pro-ject RPM 5.1.

Ask Meldano... (daniel)

Click the image to open in full size.

Bi phase, Ac synthesised, dual mono psu. Adjustable voltage- trimmer, adjustable phase offset in 0.1 degree digital increments, adjustable speed 0.01hz digital increments. USb interface for setting variables and logging playing time, lights, signalling and a whole lot more.

Simple to build and very very good when you use thick bearing oil to provide some linear drag and kill the cogging in the motor.

Ritchie you'd need to use step ups to get the 110v for the linn motor. I use a 16v project motor on my Kuzma/LP12 hybrid/bastard.

There's not much more to tell really, if you are interested pm 'Meldano', he designed it
