I am not sure what all the pre-sets are doing, particularly which ones are setting gain and feedback - mixing them up can be frustrating. I have an idea of the general Wien-bridge configuration and could possibly figure it out by tracing the p.c. - but asking first is simpler and more convenient! If you do not mind I will PM you; perhaps we can work something out if you can direct me.

Yes!
Only difference to mine is that my "power on" indicator is a small filament lamp actioned by a momentary-on push-button switch. That seems to have preceeded the Marconi then - no led. Otherwise the internal lay-out is exactly the same.
Thanks yet again; I shall now be able to sort matters out, also possibly replace transistors with newer types.
