I just purchased my first vinyl recording (from Amazon) in nearly thirty years.
It was a new (still in shrink-wrap) copy of a 1975 LP.

I have been popping tags for vinyl instead of Amazon , so much good used stuff around its been awhile since i have used Amazon for Vinyl ...

I seriously lucked into a large LP collection about a year and a half ago. The guy was selling some colour vinyl on ebay and he was about 45 mins away. I emailed him and asked what else he had, he told me, and I drove out the next day with cash in hand. All of Led Zep, Stones, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Fleetwood Mac, etc.... totally classic.

Since then two used record stores have opened up within 3 miles of my house. TWO STORES!! Does life get any better than this?

My wife has..... put a limit so to speak.. on how many times per month I can go there... LOL. More like "if you buy one more album this month you will sleep under the stairs... and we don't HAVE stairs!" I think she means business. ;-)
