According to a german forum, base is compressed rock wool with pvc.

(Google translation from german to english):

A direct-drive semi-automatic turntable with front panel and high ease of use and a very competitive price / performance ratio. The frame is of pressed rock wool, sealed with PVC. The result is a largely free from resonance ground.
The feet inwards are adjustable so that the turntable can be installed in a small space or on shelves. The highly stabilized synchronization is achieved by a newly developed linear-torque DC servo motor. And the peak bearing tonearm has a special adjustment: the fine adjustment of the contact pressure is carried out prior to storage of the tone arm from the front. Adjustable counterweight and anti-skate are easily adjustable.
The record player has at least 2 separate controls for fine-tuning the speed 33 or 45 U /. An illuminated stroboscope in PLATTER helps you set the exact speed. The flutter are <0.065% DIN, d
