Audiomeca Website...

click on:

Welcome To Mega Venus Spa & Beauty Salon

shows a strange offer.

Well, I wanted to contact Pierre Lurne, to send me the manual for the J1. Additionally, I need to know:

- Which oil is required for the bearing??? (Where can I get it!)

Thanks a lot for your support.

Yes, but...
Yes, but he's not owner of "his" domain. or it got captured... Anyone has another contact? Or just the knowledge about oil, manual...

Yeah, that is very odd, audiomeca has clearly lost control of that domain name which may also mean that they are gone. (When I went out of business I let my original registration lapse and was not able to get it back.)

Oiling your J1
Hi - Stumbled across this thread in 2015 ... late to the party. Sorry!

Here are the words of Pierre direct (from 2009) in an email to me:

"Do you clean and oil your platter bearing once a year ? Cleaning with cotton ear sticks and alcohol. Use car oil. Only one drop on the spindle tip and a few along the shaft. Enough for one year. Caution : never place your platter upside down on its little LP centerer. Put it on a cup. Then never drop it onto the turntable, "land" it slowly and carefully."
