Hello, my DIY tonearm works mechanically great. I was also satisfied a long time with me cartridge Denon 110. But me ears want more detail and sound delight. Like you look for a better DAC to be closer with your favorit musicians...
Any cartridge suggestions for a drumstick 5B...probably not the lightest one made, but sounds very good I think... Budget max. ca. 600$ Phono Pre is the LP 797 with better PS

For lightness, maybe you should have gone with the old Ludwig 6A "Pencil" model...or for tradition, the good old Haskell Harr "2B". Very inventive! Thanks for brightening my day.
