Default Belt drive help needed

I bought a VPI Scout (without motor) and now have the correct Hurst 300 rpm motor.
Please let me know:
1 what is the diameter of the pulley (where the belt meets) and
2 how do I correctly wire the hurst motor? I am a novice.
Thanks a lot
