I had a a non-working Soundstream DAC 1 digital to anlog converter laying around so I donated the chassis to my Boozhound project. Power supply is a 1200ma at 12 volts wall wart. Hardest part was unsoldering the rca jacks from the dac1 board. I left the small board inplace that the power led is mounted to. Everything works fine, and sounds great. Very punchy, toe tappy and top end is smooth with a dead quiet background. Seems to be getting better with more use, only has about an hour on it so far.
