Pressing of the record vinyl disc to the platter from the turntable is a good step for enhancing the sonic quality. Particularly by warped vinyl records by additional use of a stabilizing ring for the outer edge of the vinyl disc.
There are a very wide range of various parts for such devices. Attached below a small URL overview.

Hi, sorry for the delay but I saw only now this post.
I found the clamp to be very effective in my Kuzma front end.
I have tested for a long period the "normal" Kuzma, the old Harmonix TU-812, the new Harmonix TU-812 MK2 and the Oyaide STB-MS Vinyl Stabiliser Weight. Of all these the best one was the old Harmonix TU-812, followed by the new (much lighter) TU-812 MK2. I have found very usefull also the Harmonix TU-800 Turntable Mat. At the end I stop buying clamps and developed my own project, that is a gaboon ebony clamp inspired by the Shun Mook clamp (probably the best one, even if I have only seen it and not heard it) and by the Kuzma ebony clamp. The results was so good that I made more samples and some friends bought it. So, now I have a small set of them on sale. If someone can be interested, please send me a private message.

Apparently that strobe disc/clamp was included with the PF-1000 and PF-800 turntables.
