Maybe the reason for the offset is that the output buffer is floating.
Guys, connect a 20kOhm resistor from the output of the buffer to ground.

From JP2a to JP2b. Simply from output to ground.

How about just connecting it to the pre. If there is a resistor across input, would that do the trick?

That should work too and may be the reason that the beta builders had not much trouble with DC offset. If this is the reason then i am sorry that i forgot the bleeder resistor.

easy enough to put one in.
Actually that is why you put in duplicate output pads.
Right?

Default uncomfortably hot

Hello,

I am nearly at the point to hook the Paradise to my setup.

I've got everything working, but after having it for 2 hrs.
on the mains I realized the frightening temperature of the
heatsinks.
I can touch them only for seconds.

I run in the regulator with about 29 volts, that should be ok.

But I don't like to burn my house down on accident.

Is there a easy way to get the 29 v a little down to have a
little more headroom regarding the heatsinks?

Thanks,
Christoph
