Voltage in the base of Q104 (first BC337 on the positive ccs) is 16.6v and should be 22v

Voltage in the 10 ohm resistor is 14.8v and should be 19.4.

What is the output voltage if you disconnect the led-chain (just remove the adjustment resistor).?

After a nice Risotto,
Regards,
Frans.

After removing R105 and so disconnecting the led chain I still have 12.9v at the output.

Finally nailed it

After some mind stretching I decided to replace the mosfet driver bjt with a stronger one (highe hfe) and now everything works normally.

Now is time to build the external riaa filter for both boards.

PS: Led testing with a 9v batt can be a total disaster.... I managed to burn some leds this way and replacing them proved very board damaging.... DO NOT ATEMPT THIS AT HOME.

That is very strange.
20% more hFE does not seem like the change that cured the problem.
Look for something else.

I just got my Paradise up and running yesterday and am listening to it now - simply astonishing - the best phono stage I have ever heard - I can't praise it enough!
