Question Which turntable

Can anyone ID the turntable in the beginning of this video....??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obNMU...eature=related

BTW- the video is about some VERY nice looking speakers, but it's the TT that interests me......

TIA

If you move your mouse pointer over the equipment in the video it will show you what the equipment is. The TT in the video is an Empire 4000D/III with a Dynavector DRT XV-1s cart.

That was my first thought, but google returns Empire 4000D/III as a cartridge...... and none of the Empire turntables seesm to fit....

Thanks anyway

That's not an Empire turntable. The description supposed to mean TWO cartridges, notice the plural. One cartridge is Empire 4000D/III and one cartridge is Dynavector DRT XV-1s.

I owned Empire turntables before and none looks like that.

It's a DIY project with unknown platter....maybe from Acoustic Solid or Acoustic Signature.... or maybe completely DIY parts.

It may well be a DIY thingie...... but there's a label on the front of the plint, a name, two capital letters , and " Reference".......
but the dust cover distorts the focus, so I'm unable to read the first part...

I'm about to restart a TT DIY project that's been down for far too long, and found that a very nice looking plinth...
