Any decision you make here -- switches, wiring, anything -- could have consequences for your home insurance policy. Regarding injury, there have been some sad incidents among DIYers dealing with electricity, and some of these people checked their facts on the internet first...Some things are neither 'common sense' nor 'simple.' Because you're more experienced than most, you might decide to refer this aspect of your project to someone qualified/insured to do this kind of thing (check their credentials as well). Your local Rega dealer might do it for you, in which case I recommend ditching the Ebay motor and choosing the latest spec Rega motor/power supply kit. In any case: good luck, keep safe, and happy listening. :-)) |

Hi, last week I spotted on Ebay that TeemadAudio were doing an upgrade kit for around $200. It included an ajustable seperate DC Motor in a nice Ally Poad and a 22mm Acrylic Platter.
