Turntable purchase comments Please
I have the opportunity to buy an Rega Planar 3 with Linn basik + tonearm and Grace f9e Ruby Cartridge for 450 US.
I have presently a Kyocera PL-601 with an XONO Pass Labs Preamp. Will the Rega be an upgrade to my current setup? |

 These are both very fine turntables. Only I'm afraid the Xono doesn't do justice to them. Ditch the bitch (the Xono) and get yourself a real hi-end top-class phono stage like a Nad etc. etc. I could buy the Xono from you if you are interested but I'm afraid I cannot offer more than US$250 for it provided that it's in mint condition with original packaging and owner's manual. Are you telling me that you don't like the Pass RIAA stages? Or is it only the XONO that you don't like. Regards, Audiofanatic P.S. which one do you prefer? Don't tell me you like the PhD Sutherland
