Hi,

I have finally got my thorens td 125 mkii working thanks to 2 very kind members on here!

However now i have it working and have sound to my amp i have a very loud buzzing noise.

I'm pretty sure that it is to do with the earth to the arm as when i touch the arm the buzz gets slightly louder. The question i have is at the connection to the arm from the phono cable there is a small cable, where do i earth this to?

Then at the phono connection that joins to the pre amp is again a small earth cable, where di i connect this to?

Gnd the small cable at the end of the arm to the TD-125 chassis, and the small wire at the other end of the cable gets connected to chassis of your pre-amp/amplifier/receiver.
