Nice! Do you use DD drive system like original MS? Why Micro Seiki? Can you give more details about construction , platter and bearing? Regards, L

To ensure everything microseiki similar. BLDC motor we used this system to get the platter. Plinth is made of cast zinc; Platter is made of cast brass; bearing made of stainless steel and ceramic ball inside used. All are processed by CNC machine

BTW.: Bulit something a little alike this a few years ago:

nice work Holger...I was thinking of using a ms arm board in my current tt project as it is still readily available...they are plenty beefy and reasonably priced for what it is...clear audio has a nice board as well but the machined aluminum for the solution is expensive...there is a Chinese version on ebay for much less?...I have not yet chosen an arm so the decision is still up in the air as to hole size etc?...if you have any suggestions as to an arm board on a three point plinth like the clear audio solution I would appreciate it...thanks😎

I inherited a 40 year old Micro Seiki RX-5000 from an old friend who passed away. I'm refurbing it and believe it needs both lube and a new bearing. Does anyone hear know and is willing to share the size of the bearing in the original? Thanks.
