Hello all, I have a gently used Rega Planar 2 turntable, Grado cartridge, glass platter, somewhere in the early 1980's vintage. Far as I can tell the only thing needed is the belt drive is a little old, but still works. It has been sitting around un used might have been used 2 years tops when it was bought.
I live in Winnipeg Canada. Any idea what this thing is worth or how I could find it a new home. Thanks in advance for any help or direction. Cheers Ron.

A picture would be good, the right arm could easily double the value.

Some photos, not great light but you should get the idea, hope it helps.
"A picture would be good, the right arm could easily double the value." I should be so lucky. It might be a rb200 tonearm Ron. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sold exactly the same one (around £50) early this year.
The arm is a Acos Lustre. It would be nice to know is the Bias setting is working because normally the belt inside falls appart. Ric |

Why dont you get an RB300 (with tungsten counterweight) or RB250 arm (get better counterweight) for it, off ebay. RB250 are best/easiest for modding...
