Got my hands on an old turntable for free. It works and its a lower class turntable but its all I have at the moment to try. Anyway its got a old Pickering V15 AC1 cartridge on it. Is the pickering any good or should I toss it and look for something else?

I thought the V15 AC1 was the very bottom feeder of the line. OEM for manufacturers like Fisher in 1968.

You maybe right as it has been a long time since a have delt with them and I had just stated in another thread that I have an Audio Technica V15 and now I will have to go and dig it out to be sure.
But I can tell you this,The one that I had retailed for $150 in about 1980. I just found this, AudioKarma.org Home Audio Stereo Discussion Forums - View Single Post - Pickering V-15 Micro IV But IMHO any good cartridge is worth keeping. jer ![]() P.S. mine is an Audio Tecnica AT150 Last edited by geraldfryjr; 3rd September 2011 at 01:42 PM. |
