Talking SDIESEL77 HANDMADE DIY GUITAR TURNTABLE

Finally !!!

After months of preparation, talks, drawings and conception my new DIY turntable is finally connected to the amp !

I have to say, I m REALLY impressed by the sound quality compared to my old one (Dual 455) !!

(A new platter mat has been ordered)

Yes, very nice! Welcome to the forum.. (I see this was your very first post)

Some unsolicited advice: If you are interested in experimenting with alternative mats I've found the Herbie's audio lab mats to be a significant upgrade over the hard rubber mats that come with most TT, and they aren't outrageously expensive compared to most other options. (Note I have no affiliation)

Here: Herbie's Turntable Mats I was shocked at how much better one of these mats was compared to the stock mat on my now departed TD-125, and that Herbie's mat is now doing duty on my back up TD-124.

What sort of phono pre-amp are you using? Yeah, I am a vinylphile..
