This is a really 'strange' paper, and full of 'half'-truth's. The mosfet gates are not (as stated) current driven (that is not possible) the gain of the amplifier is set by I(drive)/(Vout/Rfeedback) this is not 100% feedback.

The absolute last sentence of the paper is totally right, simpler is better :)

Beside the fact that the view taken to electronics (in those days) is so totally different from the view we take today, and maybe even just because of that difference in view, this was a good and interesting read.

P.s. 'half'-truth is not menthe to degenerate the paper, I'm sure it has been written by people way smarter then I am :) it is just my way of telling that we (at the least I) do have a totally different view to these things then once was the standard.
