Default Technics SL2000 and Denon DL103R

Hello all,

I am seeking comments on whether these two would be compatible.

I just picked up for very cheap a vintage Technics SL2000 that the guy had in his basement for over 20 years. It looks and runs great. For cartridges, I have always heard great things about the 103R, performance for value is the big attraction.

How reasonable a match would these be? Should I need to go with a heavier arm on the Technics?

thanks

gary
