I found this place on the web and though to ask a question that you probably can answer. I have a got a barely used, seems to be working fine Technics sl b202 – probably 1982 year one. Then I see a Thorens TD 160 Super which people take away from an auction for like 300 bucks, with no belt. I am wondering, how much can I price Sl B202 , and what is the difference between them in general? Judging by my superficial knowledge, there is not much of difference on turntables(they have an wheel, arm, speed and needle..maybe an amplifier, but not these models I guess) – I guess I am wrong in this. So can you advise?
PS – the technics I got is barely used, and even is still in its own box. Belt was there and it turns normally once on. I presume it works. |
