logic dm101 electronic problems

hi all i have a loguic dm101 deck which i love but has developed problemms with the electronic speed change when at 33 it jump to 45 and and after a while stop completly with both light on 33 and 45 on together if i switch of for a while it works ok for about 5 mins and then starts over again iv had it look at and was quoted £250.00 to repair, which i havent got iv looked on the net and there are companies that sale alternate power suppies with speed change,again out side my buget, would any of you out there know if this is some thing that can be made as a diy project and if so where i mite find info on the above metioned, ie, how to build one and costs many thanks sweepy

There is a schematic on vinylengine.com.

Looking at the schematic I suspect that it could be noise falsely triggering the CD4013 or this IC may have failed.
As it quite old I would also be inclined to change any electrolytic capacitors.
