MERIDIAN MCD-101 SCHEMATIC

I have Meridian MCD 101, early 1980s CD player. Got it from a garage sale. It has some kind of floating voltage problem. With power switch off, if pluged in power socket, front LEDs would be lightly ON. Would anyone have diagram of that machine? Thanks.

The Meridian MCD is the same (almost) as the Philips CD101

Any caps across the power switch terminals ?.
If so, that could be your problem.
When switched on does it work correctly ?.

Errm, I think that is the expected behaviour; we have had one in the family from new. When plugged in, all the track LEDs are lit; switch on and they glow more brightly.
