Hi,
I have bought a Thorens TD-104 for 30 bucks last week. I have now to add a phono preamp to my PGA based preamp. I have seen some chinese kit on ebay, but I don't know how is there quality. I need something at least with a PCB and without tubes. Any advice ? Regards |

Why no tubes?
Other choices as a "kit": Pass Pearl II Bottlehead Seduction (tubes) Boozehound labs Pacific based JFET kit on ebay Oatley Electronics has a nice kit with PS, but it is 6418 based. Phonoclonce VSPS and its brethren Last edited by studeb; 29th March 2011 at 05:18 PM. Reason: remebered more kits |

it uses tubes but not too big |

p2p stands for point-to-point. Use a breadboard or project board (a pcboard with a grid of holes) and put your components in it and solder them to each other or use wire to make the connections.
