Today I made a compare between a Thorens TD124.2 with EMT 929 tonearm TSD15 cartridge after revision and a Linn LP12 with older Lingo power supply and Ekos tonearm and Kharma cartridge .
The lattest version from the Lingo power supply seems to give better results concerning 50hz and 100 hz motordrive harmonics !! Rumble both is very low and small 100 Hz vibration at the 124 by carefull adjusting the motor after revision. Later this evening when it is quiet I make some measurents with the Thorens rumpel koppler see what this brings . |
