Hi all,
I am beginning to look out for such a tape recorder.
Is there something special to look for if I find one, and what is the price? (not absurd fleabay prices, please).
Is it at all possible to obtain spareparts for these decks?

Hi all,
Okay got a nice tcd-3014a now, so far so good.
As agge is creeping up on those cassettedecks, I would like to ask, if anyone have a good advice for removing and lubricating the mocing mechanical parts, as the old grease seems to dry up and harden, therefore making the movement of e.g. pressurerolls to the capstans somewhat difficult. This in turn, gives more wow and flutter.
Otherwise it looks as new.
Also is there anyone who have experience in bettering componints of cassettedecks, wires, phono sockets etc.?
