My memory is failing me I think??

I once owned a Lynn Sondek TT; I bought it second hand and it went to god when my ex-wife dropped it. now old age is a funny thing but when I was talking to another member on the phone yesterday i mentioned that this T had a wooden arm, he said he had never heard of a wooden arm on any TT let alone a Lynn, and now I am wondering if i remember correctly, or if I got the TT cheap because of a stuff-up/modification by the previous owner.
