Default Sony XDR-F1HD line out ?

I own two of these already ( great piece of gear) - I'm trying to decide if I can feed one into a Dodd buffer - pretty sure it'll work just fine - except I ran into this spec :
Audio Output
Output Level 0.7 Vrms at 47 Kohm
Recommended load impedance over 10 Kohm

This doesn't make sense to me - anybody seen a test report that would actually list what the output impedance of this piece is ?
