Upgrade Phono Cartridge?

I have a Grace Ruby on my VPI Scoutmaster that goes into Aikido phono. I am pretty happy with the performance, but I got the upgrade itch.

I am looking into upgrading my cartridge to something like a Zyx or Van Den Hul, and build a step up to use with my Aikido.

Does anybody have an opinion whether this is a good move or should I save my money for something else?

I'd save my money for when you need a new needle. I was stunned at what new cartridges and needles are going for. Its enough to make you want to convert everything to CD.

I'm guessing that you have the Grace F9 Ruby that just so happens to be one of the favorite cartridges that I ever owned. I have been kicking myself in the butt ever since. I will take it off of your hands... ;-)
