My mother in law has a Technics SL D3 Direct Drive T/T lying around that she says I can have. I have a couple audio projects on the go so don't need another at the moment. However, is it worth taking this for a future project. It would only be the motor, platter and control system that I would use in any future rebuild but is the drive system any good or is it best left alone?
