Motor Shaft, Thorens TD150

I have just received a Thorens TD150 badly damaged in transit. The package arrived having been 'repacked' by the post office (insurance claim by the sender in hand). Unfortunately the packaging couldn't prevent the platter from coming into heavy contact with the TT and as a result the capstan and about an inch of motor shaft have been seperated from the motor. I guess the shaft, which is quite thin, has sheared off where it passes through a bearing.

Has anybody experience of repairing one of these, is it possible to replace the rotor shaft ?

If not then I guess , I am looking for a replacement motor........... which I believe is also common to the TD160 ?

there is a thorens td150 (mk 2 if that matters)
motor on ebay quite cheap.
